I am so glad to see this film project coming out! I grew up down the way from the Fair Grounds and they were a tremendous part of my life! I was born in '65 so I did not get to experience the Fair when it was happening. My family went though and later had some stories to share :) I will always remember being a small child and seeing the NYSP still with it's fiber glass roof partially intact and the US Pavilion also with it's colorful fiberglass looking to me like a big speaker cabinet. I had thought they were all made of cloth but then I was just a child! This was a place a magic and mystery to me. It always will be! Later when my interest in Science Fiction grew I discovered that Ray Bradbury had had a hand in the design of a couple of attractions. This made it even more incredible! I wish you the best of luck with this project and may the NYSP be restored and loved by all and The Fair be given the place in history it deserves!
